Welcome to the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Sciences at Debre Berhan University. The college is one of the pioneers in the University, its establishment being in 2007. Since then, it is discharging its national responsibility by producing qualified graduates both in undergraduate and graduate programs, conducting research and offering community services. The college currently has 6 BSc., 14 MSc. and 2 PhD programs under five departments.

As it resides in an applied university according to the current differentiation of universities, the college strives for rendering an education that is more practically oriented to provide students with the skills that capacitate them to solve the real problems of the society in the area of agriculture.

Although agriculture is the mainstay of the national economy, it still relies on subsistence farming. Aligning its mission with the national policy to mechanize the sector, the college aspires to be key player in mitigating the national challenges in food security and economic affluence through adopting agricultural technologies and transferring them to the society to foster the sustainable use of natural resources for the development of the country.
