Debre Berhan University is a public higher education institution established in 2007 by the decree no. 61/1999 E.C of the Council of Ministers of the FDRE. Debre Berhan University, June 15, 2017 – On June 15, 2017, Debre Berhan University proudly graduated 1,359 students who earned their first and second degrees. The university's President, Dr. Asmar Melese, delivered a heartfelt congratulatory message to the graduates, their families, and the entire university community. He urged the graduates to serve their nation with loyalty and dedication in their chosen careers. Dr. Melese highlighted the university's commitment to becoming a leading institution in applied education and research.
