Welcome to the College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the Debre Berhan University (DBU). I am honored to serve as Dean of College of Business and Economics (CoBE), which is student’s first choice. We are delegated to base every one of our activities in line with the mission and vision of our University. Accordingly, we are very much committed to the achievements of the University's mission and to sustain the development and competitiveness of our college.

The College educates more than 4000 students annually across six undergraduate degree programs in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Logistic and supply chain management, Management, Marketing management & Tourism and Hotel management, seven masters programs in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Developmental economics, Logistic and supply chain management, Marketing management, Project management and Tourism and Hospitality management.

Our instructors are highly dedicated to their work and empathetic to their students and surrounding communities. Our faculty and professional staff’s skills, knowledge and commitment combine to enrich the student learning experience and future carer. Openness and transparency are emphasized and positive and constructive discourse with the leadership of the University helps in moving the operation of the College forward. In addition to learning teaching activities, our staffs are engaged and committed in Research and Community services activities.
