The Top management, Directors, Dean of Colleges, Academic and Administrative supports Team leaders’ participated on the evaluation.
Opening the evaluation program, Dr. Nigusse Tadesse, Debre Berhan University President, said the University Council evaluated the strengths and weakness of Strategic Plan of GTP2 (2008-2012 E.C) work plan performance of the university. In the Strategic Plan evaluation program, the council evaluated the overall five years’ work
performance of each wings based on their plans and the key elements. He requested the council members to participate actively in the evaluation process.
The University Planning preparation, monitoring and evaluation Directorate Director, Ato Dejene Tsegaw, presented the Strategic Plan of GTP2 (2008-2012 E.C) work plan performance comparing with in GTP1. On the other hand, He presented five years Strategic work planning performance in Academic, administrative and Research and Community Service wings and others. He included the result of the achievement, the gap and in matters relating to those priorities presented in the council members.
The participated of the council members raised different questions and comments. Then after, Debre Berhan University Academic vice president Dereje Andargie (PhD), Research and Community service vice president Almaz Afera (PhD), Student and Administrative vice president Dereje Ajibe and Business & development vice president Yeshareg Getaneh (PhD) reflected and shared their ideas.
Finally, DBU President, Dr. Nigusse Tadesse, summarized the work performance evaluation of Strategic Plan GTP2. He expressed the strengths and weakness of the past five-year’s strategic plan (GTP).
