which closed during covid- 19 pandemic outbreaks for the last 7 months. The supervision team made fruitful discussions with the management team, student councils, and administrative council about the preparedness of reopening of the university. The team visited the classrooms, laboratories, workshops, libraries, dormitories, student dining halls, clinics, and lounges which will serve students in a situation under covid -19 pandemics.
Solomon Abreha /PhD/, told that the university is jointly working to serve the students, the community and plan to give a response for covid-19. The management team, the council, and the staff are seen working closely and they speak the synonymous language that all are participating in the work. The university’s readiness is on the right track if some minor corrections made on the toilet and shower rooms.
Dr.Nigus Tadese, DBU President, on his part said that the university has finalized its preparation to re-open the university and summon the students especially the 2012 E.C graduates in the first round. He confirmed that when students arrive here, psychological treatment and counseling will be given by their respected teachers under covid-19 protocol
The participants raised different questions and certain concerns regarding peace and stability. The supervision team give a certain explanation and took the concerns for feedback to MoSHE concerning peace and stability. The discussion and supervision were done for 2 days' time.
