Debre Berhan University offers training to Female leaders

 Opening the training, W/ro. Addis Asfawosen, Debre Berhan University Women, Children and Youth Directorate Director, said that leadership training is helpful in serving the community and it can add value and make women effective in leadership though it can be inherited through their cases and it can also growth up through training and experience sharing.  The aim of the training is to solve their problem, discus about it and share experience. 

Debre Berhan University, Department of management, Tirsit Woldemariam was a trainer. She presented paper on leadership skills, characteristics of leadership, the difference between leaders and boss, and leadership styles. She explained that leaders should have the quality to negotiate, coach, supervise and inspire his/her workers. They are also capable in creating team and sprits work place.

The trainee, Debre Berhan University College of Medicine Academic Affairs Associate Dean, Aklile Semu, told that this training enable them to enhance the capacity of leadership skills. Another trainee, W/ro, Alemayehu Syum, said that Women in the leadership position must be competitive and effective through training. She added that the capacity building training for women leaders should move into a uniform approach.
